Pianist and pedagogue 

Egli Prifti was born in Albania, where he studied pianoforte at the Naim Frasheri Art School. He obtained his Master's degree at the Charles University in Prague, followed by his PhD in Music Theory and Pedagogy. Several years later, Prifti earned his second PhD in Music Theory and Interpretation at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

Prifti, who was a lecturer at the Charles University in Prague, for several years, is currently teaching Piano at the Hostivar Art School in Prague and Music Appreciation Concerts at the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. He was also a guest lecturer at the University of Arts in Tirana, Albania; at Haxhi Zeka University in Peja, Kosovo; New York University in Prague, and a solo artist with numerous concerts within the Czech Republic and abroad.
